Jalandhar, Feb. 27 -- Amid reports of Punjabi actor-singer Gippy Grewal's security being withdrawn, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Pawan Kumar Tinu took a dig at Grewal for his political intervention and said that singers need to focus on their singing and should not engage in politics.
While speaking to the media, Tinu stated, "Singers need to focus on their singing and should not engage in politics," further adding that artists are loved by everyone and thus must not engage in political matters.
The response comes in the wake of reports suggesting the security provided to the Punjab actor has been withdrawn, drawing strong reactions from the state's political sphere.
