New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- BJP MP Deepak Prakash on Monday attacked the Congress after a video surfaced of party MP Tariq Anwar being carried on the shoulders of villagers during an inspection of flood-affected areas in Bihar's Katihar.

Prakash said the incident exposed the "mentality" of the Congress and its lack of concern for the poor and Dalits.

"After the yatra, the Yuvraj went abroad to rest, which clearly shows how little he cares about the poor, Dalits and the people of Bihar. They have a leader who goes to assess the situation and assesses the devastation caused by floods by riding on the shoulders of villagers. This shows the mentality of the Congress," Prakash told ANI.
