Kanpur, Sept. 13 -- Sanjay Dwivedi, whose son Shubham Dwivedi was among the 26 people killed in the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam terror attack, on Saturday welcomed the BRICS New Delhi Declaration's strong condemnation of the incident and call for a global "zero-tolerance" policy against terrorism, saying it brought a "sense of satisfaction" to the affected families.

Speaking to ANI, Sanjay Dwivedi said, "This brings a sense of satisfaction to the affected families. The fight against terrorism being waged by our Prime Minister and our government is garnering global support. However, these powerful nations must also realise that merely passing a resolution does not eradicate terrorism."
