Patna, April 14 -- Bihar Minister Shreyasi Singh on Tuesday expressed a mix of nostalgia and optimism regarding the change in power, reflecting on the long tenure of Nitish Kumar and the expectations placed upon the incoming leadership.
Speaking to ANI, Singh said, "This is a historic day for us, an emotional day, on which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tendered his resignation and Samrat Choudhary was elected as the leader."
Expressing confidence in the new leadership, she added, "I hope that, just as Nitish Kumar worked to build a developed Bihar, Samrat Choudhary, too, will do excellent work for the state."
