New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- A major political confrontation has erupted between the ruling party BJP and the Opposition following an Indian Express report claiming internal dissent within the Election Commission of India (ECI) over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with Opposition parties demanding the resignation and removal of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.
