Guwahati, March 15 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday accused Congress of "defaming" the country as he tore into the opposition over their youth wing's shirtless protest at AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.
Addressing public rally in Guwahati, Shah reaffirmed the opposition's right to protest but condemned them for protesting at the AI Summit, which he said was a global platform to strengthen India, not a place to get involved in "personal politics".
Shah said that Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, in his opposition to the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has started opposing India.
