Chandigarh, April 10 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government over its announcement of public rewards to help authorities catch gangsters, terming it a reflection of a "collapse of law and order" in the state.

Chugh said the move exposed the government's failure to curb gangster activities in Punjab and alleged that the administration had completely failed to stamp out organised crime.
