New Delhi, July 18 -- AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Saturday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed the Delhi Police Commissioner to facilitate the arrest of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk ahead of his proposed march to Parliament on July 20.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) appointed senior IPS officer Anurag Kumar as the new Delhi Police Commissioner, replacing Satish Golcha on Friday.

Speaking in a self-recorded video message, Sanjay Singh alleged that 59-year-old Sonam Wangchuk had been on a 21-day hunger strike while raising the voice of millions of youths affected by alleged paper leaks.
