Kolkata, March 23 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Jay Prakash Majumdar alleged on Monday that All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi is being paid by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The TMC leader claimed that Owaisi is a 'collection master', after the latter announced an alliance with Humayun Kabir's Aam Janata Unnayan Party for the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections.

Speaking to Reporters, Majumdar said Asaduddin Owaisi has no political clout anywhere except Hyderabad and called him a 'collection master', alleging he will get money from the BJP.
