Prayagraj, Oct. 29 -- Following his victory in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council (MLC) elections, newly elected MLC Man Singh credited Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav's policies and popularity for the win, terming the result a triumph of real public issues over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Speaking to ANI here, Singh emphasised that the election was fought strictly on public-centric matters as directed by the party leadership.
