Guwahati, July 26 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that three operatives linked to the Pakistan-based Shahzad Bhatti Network (SBN) had been arrested in a joint operation carried out by the Special Task Force (STF), Assam, and district police in Dhubri, Chirang and Barpeta.

"In a significant operation against anti-national elements, the STF, Assam, with the support of the district police of Dhubri, Chirang, and Barpeta, has arrested three operatives linked to the Pakistan-based Shahzad Bhatti Network (SBN)," CM Sarma said in a post on X.
