New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Congress MP Rajiv Shukla on Tuesday expressed disappointment over the Election Commission of India's (ECI) response to the opposition delegation, stating that the ECI should have at least accepted their memorandum despite citing space constraints.

"If the ECI couldn't meet the opposition because of a lack of space, they should have at least taken our documents, the memorandum we had gone to submit. They should have sent a representative and accepted our letter. 300 is not a big number..," he said.

On Monday, the Election Commission requested to submit the names of upto 30 people along with their vehicle numbers for the interaction due to the limitation of space.
