New Delhi, July 29 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj on Wednesday criticised the BJP-led Delhi government over the eligibility criteria for the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, alleging that the conditions have been framed in a way that would prevent most women from availing of the scheme.

Addressing a press conference, Bhardwaj claimed that the eligibility criteria for the scheme, which promises Rs 2,500 per month to eligible women in the national capital, had been finalised by the Delhi Cabinet.
