Dehradun, Aug. 26 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the sudden and devastating floods in Nepal's Rasuwa region, where the Bhote Koshi River witnessed a severe flash flood.

As per the release, he said that the loss of lives and widespread damage caused by the natural disaster were extremely tragic and a matter of deep concern. In this difficult time, the people and the government of Uttarakhand stand in solidarity with the affected families in Nepal.

The Chief Minister prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and for the safety and well-being of all those affected by the disaster.
