New Delhi, May 22 -- While India and Cyprus on Friday upgraded their ties to a strategic partnership level, Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides took a moment to capture a selfie with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to celebrate stepping into a "new era" of partnership between the two countries.

The visiting Cyprus President also took to X to post the selfie at the Hyderabad House in the national capital.
