New Delhi, Oct. 31 -- Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday alleged that Chief Eelection Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is "running the Election Commission under the direct instructions" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The INDIA bloc's 'public impeachment' began on Saturday at Mallikarjun Kharge's residence on Rajaji Marg in New Delhi, with former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar chairing the proceedings.
