"Modi govt's anti-OBC mask is off again": Congress MP Manickam Tagore attacks Centre over SC plea on creamy layer verdict
New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Wednesday accused the Centre of attempting to delay the implementation of the Supreme Court's verdict on OBC creamy layer criteria, alleging that the move undermines social justice and affects OBC candidates.
In a post on X, Tagore alleged that the Centre's move to approach the Supreme Court against the March 11, 2026 verdict in the Union of India vs Rohith Nathan case was an attempt to deny benefits to OBC candidates.
