Mumbai, July 28 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday praised the Indian Armed Forces for conducting Operation Mahadev and neutralising several terrorists in an encounter that broke out earlier today.

Speaking to the media, Shinde saluted the Indian Army for eliminating terrorists during Operation Mahadev.

"Today, the Indian soldiers have accomplished the task of eliminating terrorists. They have done this through Operation Mahadev. I salute the Indian Army. This is a matter of pride for all Indians, and therefore, I also salute PM Modi because he has given a befitting reply to Pakistan," said Eknath Shinde.
