"Kumbhakarna": Telangana Congress demands KCR attend Assembly sessions
Hyderabad, Sept. 4 -- Telangana Congress leaders on Friday staged a protest against former Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), accusing him of remaining away from public and legislative activities and demanding that he attend Assembly sessions or resign as Leader of the Opposition.
The Congress leaders took out a protest march from the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) headquarters, Gandhi Bhavan, to Gun Park in Hyderabad.
As part of the protest, the Congress leaders displayed a large poster showing KCR in a 'Kumbhakarna' getup. They used the name "Kumbhakarna" to target KCR, saying "K" stands for Kumbhakarna, "C" for Chandrashekar and "R" for Rao.
