New Delhi, March 20 -- Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Thursday denied being in the race to be the Chief Ministerial candidate for the United Democratic Front (UDF) in the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections, saying he will not be contesting the polls.
In an interview with ANI, Shashi Tharoor said that the Congress high command will make a decision for the CM face after consulting the UDF MLAs.
When asked about the CM face, he said, "I'm not even a candidate in the election, so the question is irrelevant. I am going there because I have been asked to be co-chair of the campaign committee.
