Tumakuru, Oct. 6 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara has appealed to opposition leaders in the state to join an all-party delegation to New Delhi to seek comprehensive drought relief assistance from the Centre.

Speaking to reporters, Parameshwara expressed disappointment over statements indicating that opposition parties might skip the joint mission, stressing that the unprecedented scale of the dry spell requires a collective voice before the Union government.
