Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- The terror threats faced by India and Israel are similar and have brought the two countries closer on security and intelligence cooperation, said the Israeli envoy to India on the 17th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

Speaking to ANI in Mumbai on Wednesday, Yaniv Revach said both nations face "the same challenges" in confronting terrorism.

"Israel and India are facing the same challenges when it comes to counter-terrorism. We understand India's perspective when it comes to fighting terrorism, and we also respect the fact that India understands Israel's right to defend itself against terrorist activities," Revach said.
