Pune, Aug. 22 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of resorting to "hooliganism" and misusing police machinery out of fear over Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' student interaction event in Pune.

Reacting to strict administrative conditions imposed on Gandhi's schedule and recent clashes between youth outfits, Raut, speaking to ANI, questioned the differential treatment meted out to constitutional leaders in a democracy.
