"Inflation held at around 3.5%...": Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu hails PM Modi's leadership at NDA meeting
New Delhi, June 10 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting that at a time when the world is facing severe disruptions due to the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz, India experienced an economic inflation of around 3.5 per cent, globally the lowest.
Speaking at the NDA meeting today, Naidu noted that the conflict pushed the price of crude oil to $144 per barrel. He said that India imports 85 per cent of the crude oil and yet sustained the major economic challenge under the leadership of PM Modi.
