Mumbai, Sept. 23 -- Veteran actor Biswajit Chatterjee has opened up about the much-discussed kissing scene he shared with actress Rekha in the 1979 film 'Do Shikari', saying that the context around on-screen intimacy has changed significantly over the decades.

Reflecting on the controversy surrounding the scene, while talking to ANI, Chatterjee said that what was considered shocking at the time has a very different meaning for audiences today.

"In today's day and age, there's no meaning to that. Today on screen, kissing is nothing. The bedroom scenes in films today, I get surprised when I see it," he said.

The actor also recalled his enduring passion for watching films, particularly in theatres.
