Lucknow, Aug. 10 -- Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana on Sunday said that the state assembly in the last 3.5 years has run "very smoothly" under his tenure, ahead of the Monsoon Session of the state that will commence tomorrow.

"In the last 3.5 years, the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly has run very smoothly. Earlier, most of the Legislative Assembly sessions were adjourned... I am sure that there will be participation of members in this session as well... On August 13th and 14th, there will be a discussion on the vision 2047 of UP... It is a positive discussion for the development of the UP," Satish Mahana told ANI.
