"If government wants to do something, nothing stands in its way": MP Ram Gopal Yadav on FCRA Bills
New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- On deadlocks regarding the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) Bill, Women's Reservation Bill and the Delimitation Bill, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ram Gopal Yadav on Monday launched a scathing attack on the government, asserting that if the ruling administration wants to pass or implement a measure, no deadlock stands in its way.
Speaking to reporters on the issue, the SP leader pointed to past legislative moves to emphasise his point.
"If the government wants to do something, nothing stands in its way; they have already implemented it. They enforced it at 9 PM on the very night the vote was scheduled to take place, much like how they handled the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam," Yadav said.
