Indore, Jan. 4 -- Former Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan expressed grief over the contaminated drinking water incident in Indore's Bhagirathpura area, saying that whatever happened should not have occurred, adding that she is in touch with the councillor.
"I stand with them in their grief. I am very sad and distressed. Every worker appears before my eyes but today, my situation is not such that I can go and see... Whatever accident has happened should not have happened. We too started our tenure as a councillor... Indore is growing a lot, but that does not mean such negligence should occur. I am in touch with the councillor, we talk... This should not have happened...," Sumitra Mahajan told ANII.
