Bengaluru, July 19 -- Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar attended the public screening organised at the NGV Indoor Stadium (National Games Village, Koramangala) for the FIFA World Cup 2026 final between Argentina and Spain.

Congress MLA NA Haris is also present at the venue to watch the match along with football enthusiasts.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, Shivakumar said sports help build team spirit, adding that he is working to build "Team Karnataka."

"When you have been attracted to sports, you have a sporty spirit. I am also building Team Karnataka. It includes my officers, cadres, ministers and all my colleagues..." the CM said.
