New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Amid severe floods in Punjab caused by incessant rains, with large-scale devastation reported across the state, Aam Aadmi Party convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has urged his party workers to extend help to flood-affected communities.

In a post on X, Kejriwal said, "Help the flood victims in Punjab. You can send help to them from anywhere. My appeal to all workers of the Aam Aadmi Party around the world is that they should help with open hearts in this terrible tragedy."

He added, "I am contributing to the best of my ability from my side. And I am also contacting all my acquaintances and appealing to them to provide as much help as possible."
