New Delhi, July 29 -- Congress MP Karti Chidambaram on Tuesday, reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in the Lok Sabha, stated that he still had not "categorically repudiated" US President Donald Trump's assertions of brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
Speaking to ANI, Chidambaram emphasised that it would have been better if the government had categorically stated that Trump had no role whatsoever.
He further stated that Congress had nowhere asked for proof of Pakistan's involvement in the war, but only wanted to know the origin of the terrorists, if they were homegrown or had come across the border.
