Guwahati, Aug. 30 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday strongly condemned the alleged derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the opposition's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar.
Speaking to the media, Sarma said that the opposition's behaviour reflects a "feudal mentality."
"Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and others used abusive language against PM and his mother. This is highly condemnable. Yesterday, HM Amit Shah too condemned this from the soil of Assam and asked them to apologise. But let alone an apology, Congress brought forward someone from Madhya Pradesh and tried to give it a political colour," CM Sarma said.
