Chennai, Feb. 27 -- Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Friday highlighted the preparedness for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, describing the electoral exercise as the "pride of Tamil Nadu" and urging voters to participate enthusiastically.

Addressing the media in Chennai, the CEC said that the Election Commission recently held an international conference with participation from 72 countries, including Chief Election Commissioners, Election Commissioners and electoral staff from across the world.
