Patna, April 15 -- Congress leader Tariq Anwar on Wednesday said that the people of Bihar have been deceived as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) fought elections and made promises under his name, but now Samrat Choudhary is going to take the oath as Bihar CM.

"We had expected from Nitish Kumar that he would remain the Chief Minister of Bihar for the next five years because he and the NDA had promised that. This will impact the situation in Bihar. Elections were fought in his name, he was brought forward as the Chief Minister, and suddenly, Samrat Choudhary has arrived. We feel that a kind of deception has been done with the people of Bihar," he said.
