Patna, Nov. 2 -- Union Minister Nityanand Rai on Sunday launched a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, calling him and his partymen "criminals who protect criminals".

He claimed that those who committed heinous crimes like massacre, rape, murder, robbery "took shelter in the houses of RJD ministers".

Rai further alleged that between 1990 and 2005, there was a "jungle raj" era where the RJD protected criminals, practised nepotism, and grabbed the land of the poor, which are inherent traits of the RJD.
