New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- During the 'Fit India: Sundays on Cycle' event in New Delhi on Sunday, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse urged people to travel shorter distances, such as to the market or office, on a cycle to remain fit, promoting a cleaner environment.

Speaking to ANI, the Union Minister said, "This campaign has been organised every Sunday for the past year by our cabinet minister, Mansukh Mandaviya. We are encouraging all people to participate in the Sunday cycle event every Sunday, as it promotes a message about fitness and a clean environment. Cycling is the solution to problems like traffic and pollution."
