"Correct nomenclature": MEA calls out NYT over "Pakistani Kashmir" headline
New Delhi, July 31 -- The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday called out The New York Times over its headline describing Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as "Pakistani Kashmir," urging international stakeholders and media organisations to use proper legal and political terminology.
Addressing a weekly media briefing in New Delhi, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reiterated India's position that the entire territory of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh remains an integral and inalienable part of the country.
