Lucknow, Oct. 16 -- Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Pankaj Chaudhary on Friday alleged that a "conspiracy" is underway to destabilise the country, warning that deliberate attempts are being made to interfere with and alter the framework of constitutional bodies.

Speaking to reporters in Lucknow, Chaudhary said, "A conspiracy to destabilise the country is going on. An attempt to make changes to constitutional bodies is also being made."
