Chennai, June 4 -- Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on Thursday accused the Congress of "betraying and backstabbing" the party over its support to TVK after the Tamil Nadu assembly polls.

DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai said the party members are very angry.

DMK will not take part in the INDIA bloc meeting to take place on June 8.

"We wanted to stay away from a meeting where Congress is participating. Congress betrayed us. They backstabbed us...The cadets are all very upset. They're all angry," Saravanan Annadurai said.
