Kochi, Sept. 30 -- Reacting to the Kerala High Court's order for a judicial inquiry into the removal of a gold-plated Dwarapalaka idol from the Sabarimala temple, Advocate Krishnaraj said the incident reflects how the Devaswom Board is being run "without accountability" and accused Communist leaders of attempting to "destroy temples".
"It's a very serious matter because of the way in which the Comrades or politicians are running the Devaswom Board at Sabarimala. This gold-plated Shilpa is taken away from the Sabarimala temple without the permission of the court and without anybody's notice. This removal took place four years ago.
