New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday backed a stronger role for BRICS in advancing the interests of the Global South, as he called on the grouping to "seize the historical initiative" and become an "active, stabilising and positive force in international affairs" while addressing the second session of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
