Lucknow, Sept. 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday highlighted the transformation of Ayodhya under his administration, contrasting its current developed state with the neglect it faced in the past.

Highlighting the differences in infrastructure, CM Yogi said, "Compare the Ayodhya of today with the Ayodhya of that time. There were no roads, no electricity, no sanitation, and no basic amenities; the waters at Ram Ki Paidi used to stagnate and rot right there."

Recalling the condition of the holy town when his government assumed office in 2017, the Chief Minister noted the steps taken to revamp the city's water management and cleanliness.
