New Delhi, July 22 -- Congress MP Saptagiri Shankar Ulka on Tuesday alleged that the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar by the Election Commission (EC) is an attempt to disenfranchise the poor, Dalits, tribals, and Muslims.
Speaking to ANI outside the Parliament, Ulka said, "...We feel that this is an attempt to deprive the poor, Dalits, tribals and Muslims of their voting rights. The 'vote chori' attempt to steal in Maharashtra and Haryana is also happening in Bihar. We want this to be discussed in the House, which is why we are repeatedly bringing adjournment motions..."
