New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- Congress MP K Suresh, who was onboard the Delhi-bound Air India flight that was diverted to Chennai a day earlier due to suspected technical glitch on Monday demanded that the airline and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation should inquire into the matter.

K Suresh, told ANI that the flight took off from the Trivandrum airport at 7: 45 pm to Delhi

"After 1 hour and 10 minutes, the pilot announced that there was a communication problem with the radar system, so we had to go back to Chennai... Then, the pilot announced that we were going to land at Chennai airport, but before touching the runway, the flight again went up at high speed."
