New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Monday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of going soft on China during his meeting with President Xi Jinping at the SCO Summit in Tianjin.

The AICC leader criticised PM Modi for calling both India and China as "victims of terrorism."

He also questioned his silence on China's alleged role with Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.

In a post on X, Jairam Ramesh wrote, "For a long time, India has been accusing China of its "double standards" and "double-speak" on terrorism.
