Bandarlampung, Aug. 6 -- A member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR), Putri Zulhas, has said that waste management efforts in Lampung province require serious attention and support.

"Especially in Lampung 1 electoral district, I've visited almost every area. Indeed, waste management here requires serious attention and ongoing support," she informed here on Wednesday.

She further said she believes that the management of waste and issues related to waste is not solely the government's task, but a shared responsibility of the community, the government, and business actors.

"I heard earlier that there are around 10 waste processing facilities (TPS) at the provincial level, as well as several final waste processing facilities ...
