Jakarta, July 18 -- Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka reinforced the government's commitment to improving learning environments by visiting Public Elementary School (SDN) 016 Serusa Parit Aman in Rokan Hilir District, Riau.

The visit comes as the government targets the revitalization of 71,744 schools across Indonesia in 2026.

According to a statement from the Vice Presidential Secretariat on Saturday, Gibran visited the school on Friday after a teacher, Desi Pradipta, appealed for government assistance online.
