Jakarta, Dec. 21 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has begun official visits to North Sumatra and North Sulawesi provinces from December 21 to 23 to review infrastructure development and disaster response measures.

The vice president and his entourage departed Jakarta on Sunday at around 6:30 a.m. local time aboard the presidential aircraft and arrived at Binaka Airport in Nias District, North Sumatra, approximately two and a half hours later, according to an official statement.
