Tangerang, Banten, Jan. 3 -- Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian said several vital facilities in disaster-affected areas of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra have gradually returned to normal, including public fuel stations, electricity supply, and internet connectivity.

"When I arrived two days ago with President Prabowo Subianto, all fuel stations were already operating and fuel supplies were sufficient," he said here on Saturday.

The minister noted that a number of strategic locations and access roads, including bridges, are now passable for public and logistics vehicles. Electricity networks have also gradually been restored in several disaster-hit areas.
