Tanjungpinang, Aug. 22 -- During the Free Health Check (CKG) program in Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands Province, the City Health Office found that visual impairments and tooth decay are the most prevalent health issues among students.
"In addition, there are also earwax, low fitness levels, and anemia in adolescent girls," said Head of the Tanjungpinang City Health Office (Dinkes), Rustam, in Tanjungpinang on Friday.
Rustam stated that the CKG coverage in Tanjungpinang as of August 22, 2025, had reached 6,662 elementary, junior high, and senior high school students. The total CKG target in Tanjungpinang is 47,813 students across 143 educational institutions.
